From Friday 3rd to Thursday 8th December 2010, Lastra a Signa - Florence - will be hosting the XVII edition of the gastronomic festival Ancient Flavours from Tuscany and beyond (Antichi Sapori di Toscana e oltre).Every year, in the days preceding the Immaculate Conception Holiday on 8th December, the special event combines Tuscany traditional cuisine with the traditional aspects of the region landscapes.
With plenty of gastronomical stands set in the town center, visitors will be able to taste and enjoy a huge variety of products, from tuscan wines, oils, breads and hams to farro soup, pig meat with fennels and many more traditional dishes.
During the days of the festival, a special antique market will also be open.
