After the big success of last two editions, the theatre revue Teatrotary by Rotary Club Firenze Est, is back! Beginning on Monday February the 6th and each Monday onwards, three theatre companies will compete with their gags and puns on the Sala Esse stage in Firenze.
They will be (in order of appearance): the theatre company GUELFI E GHIBELLINI with Ladro d'amore, (Love Thief), the theatre company NE’ FISCHI NE’ FIASCHI with Vacanze forzate (Forced holidays) and the cultural association METROPOLIS, which will perform Ritorno a casa Gori (Gori’s homecoming), and finally the theatre company LA BRIGATA DE’ BEGLIUMORI, with the participation of Rotarian actors that will put on stage on the final evening of March the 5th, as an outsider, I compromessi sposi (the would-be-bethrothed).
The winner will be proclaimed on the basis of the audience’ vote only.
The proceeds will go, as for the last year’s edition, to the End Polio Now campaign of the Rotary Foundation aimed at defeating Polio disease around the world.
The performances will be held at Sala Esse Theatre in Via del Ghirlandaio n. 38 in Florence, every Monday’s at 9,00 p.m. from the 6th to the 20th of February and on the 5th of March.
