The third season of Concerts at Sunset at the Amphitheatre is about to start. Also this year 12 concerts from tango to jazz, from opera to Celtic music, will take place in the magnificent setting of the Chianti Sculpture Park in Pievasciata - Siena.
The Chianti Sculpture Park is a permanent exhibition of contemporary installations and sculptures. Artists from all over the world have created 30 artworks, like a labyrinth, a rainbow, a huge keel, all perfectly integrated in the surrounding wooded area. Closed to the Park’s entrance an Amphitheatre was built in 2009, suitable to host any kind of art form. The wings are made of white Carrara marble and black granite from Zimbabwe. The steps and the stage are covered with tiles of volcanic lava. Some famous movie characters are “permanent spectators”.

The concerts take place every Tuesday evening, from the 5th of June to the 28th of August (except for August 14th), starting at 7.00 p.m.; the location is very atmospheric at sunset. In case of rain the concerts take place at the “Fornace Art Gallery” in front of the Park.
Entrance fee: € 10,00, reduced to € 7,50 for children under 16 years old. Seasonal marble card, valid for all the concerts and transferable € 75,00. Ticket “Visit to the Park + concert” € 15,00, reduced € 10,00.
