On the 16th February, 2010 the Municipality of Pisa will dedicate a full day of events to Keith Haring, on the twentieth anniversary of his death.
Under the mural painting Tuttomondo, executed in June 1989 on the outer wall of the Church of Sant’Antonio (incidentally his last public work, dedicated to universal peace), a number of events will be promoted to commemorate the great artist and recreate the atmosphere of that week in June, when many passers-by were directly involved in the painting, helping Haring to colour the 180-square-metre mural after the artist had traced, out of pure improvisation, the outlines of the thirty figures that animates the work.
