The Caves Museum is a part of the Equi Caves Cultural Park. In the scenery of this village, at the foot of the Pizzo d'Uccello, we find the the Buca (the Pit) and the Equi Caves.
A multifaceted complex, created during the years by the water erosion, offers very suggestive small caves, narrow tunnels, halls, stalactites and stalagmites. In front of the Buca there is a Museum which allows the tourist to go back to the past of the Apuan Alps and Lunigiana territory. An educational path which shows the natural history of locations and of the human presence in Equi. No windows full of objects, no never-ending panels but only the bear, the man, the environment and the life reconstructed with a scientific and educational attention.
