The church of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria contains remarkable works of art, even though the famous polyptych by Simone Martini is currently preserved in the National Museum of San Matteo.
Worthy of note are: the tomb of Bishop Simone Saltarelli by Nino Pisano, the altar-piece ''The Glory of St. Thomas Aquinas'' by Francesco Traini, an ancient chair from which the saint is said to have given sermons and lectures, and the tomb of the Blessed Friar Giordano da Rivalto.
