The Domus Mazziniana is meant to aid scholars in their studies about the history of the Risorgimento. It houses a history library and a lecture hall.
Three rooms preserve the patriot's memorabilia. The Nathan-Rosselli's house, where Mazzini was given hospitality until his death, houses a Centre of Mazzinian Studies and a five-room museum preserving memorabilia, medals, flags, autographs, books and documents that once belonged to Mazzini.
At the entrance is a bronze bust of Mazzini by the sculptor Giulio Giuggi; hanging on the walls are the geographical maps used by Mazzini in his travels. Worthy of mention is an important library on the history of the Risorgimento, containing some 25,000 volumes.
Opening hours: from Monday to Friday 9.00am to 12.30pm; Closed on Saturday and Sunday.
