The Mining Museum Park is situated in the mining area of the Abbey of San Salvatore which was one of the world's most important mercury mines.
Through an exhibition of reproductions, documents and objects, the history of mercury and miners is reconstructed together with the history of a community that gave identity to the territory of Amiata.
