Palazzo Lappoli dominates the southeast side of piazza Grande, which is made up of an interesting succession of old houses with high narrow facades decorated with wooden balconies. Its upward movement was drastically reduced in the 18th century, when the tower was levelled down to the heigth of the main building.A 20th century restoration has given it back part of its original heigth.
