On a beautiful hill crest, against the stunning scenery of the Via Lucardese, lies “I Lecci” Centro per la Cultura del Vino (the Centre for the Culture of Wine), the maximum expression of culture devoted to buon bere (fine drinking) and buon mangiare (fine eating) in the territory of Montespertoli. The Centre for the Culture of Wine “I Lecci” houses a Congress and exhibition Centre, a wine bar and the Museum of Wine.
The Congress Centre
The Centre offers the most modern and original solution for the organization of congresses, conventions, conferences, workshops, product presentations, exhibitions and gala evenings, successfully combining tradition with high technology. The Centre is provided with a 150-seat auditorium and smaller rooms with 16 and 30 seats.
The Museum of Wine
The Museum is the core of the structure, gathering the testimonies of the culture of the main product of this area, wine, while illustrating the wine production phases but also the value of the tradition linked to the appeal of land and its cultivation, involving wine-lovers and tourists alike. In the innovative “laboratorio dei sensi” (the workshop of the senses), the visitor can experience first hand the sensations connected to the magic world of wine.
The “I Lecci” wine bar
The wine bar is the ideal place to have a coffee break in refined and elegant surroundings, perfect also for quiet business lunches, to taste traditional Tuscan dishes prepared with strictly local products and accompanied by an excellent Chianti Montespertoli DOCG and by the other great traditional wines from Montespertoli.
