The church is located in the Quarter of Sant''Antonio.
Construction dates from the 12th century. The church was completely restored in the 18th century but half destroyed by bombings during World War II. Extensive restoration was completed in 2002. The church is an 18th-century baroque-style gem characterized by perfect harmony between volumes and spaces. The facade by Vaccà is also scheduled to be restored. The aisless interior contains works of no special interest.
