The Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art is located in a palace of 1580 wished by Alberico I Cybo Malaspina belonging to the younger branch of the Cybo Malaspina.
The structure collects the relevant liturgical objects of the Province of Massa Carrara ; they are divided in two different sections: objects from the San Francis Cathedral of Massa and objects from the parishes of the province .
It is possible to see: religious vestments, paintings, wood and marble sculptures and religious equipments. Some of these works are by famous artists such as: Iacopo Della Quercia, Felice Palma, Agostino Ghirlanda, Domenico Fiasella.
