The Parish Church of San Vitale has very ancient origins. Built of the Mirteto field, it occupied a strategic position, protected by the mountains and in an area where it was possible to control the sea.
During the centuries, many changes has taken place.
The parish church is composed by three naves and today has a Renaissance appearance.
Inside, it is possible to find many important art works such as: the Annunciation, a XIV century sculpture by Antonio Pardini, the shrine, which contains the the Crowned Mary with the Child, and the Saint Rocco statue.
