Montepulciano Terme

The Thermal Baths of Montepulciano are situated in the middle of Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana, at 3 km from Chianciano Terme in the province of Siena.

These mineral waters are sulphurous, salso-bromo-iodic and also contain bicarbonate, calcium and magnesium.
They are used to treat diseases of the respiratory and ear -nose- throat apparatus as well as those of the female organs and of the skin.
The water comes from a depth of 132 metres without being exposed at the air. This process guarantees the natural therapeutic quality of the sulphur  and its antiseptic, anti-catarrh, anti-spastic and anti-allergy activities.
