Terme di Saturnia

This waterfall is very famous in Tuscany because is an open-air free hot spring.
The waters of Saturnia Therme are sulphureous-carbonic-sulphate-bicarbonate-alkaline. The smell is quite strong because of the sulphurous.

Bathing in these kind of water is indicated in the treatments of: digestive system diseases, female genital organs and female urinary tracts, nose and throat diseases, dental diseases and respiratory deseases.
It's eve used for arthrosis, rheumatism, osteoarticular diseases, vascular diseases and all kind of skin diseases.

To reach the ope-air thermal bath you have to arrive to Saturnia and then drive out of town. At the main road, turn right. Pass the entrance of the spa on your left: the hot river will be running through the field. You can stop there or go ahead until the main road makes a sharp turn to the left.
The hot springs waterfall is located on your right at this corner. Take the dirt road in and turn right: you'll find a big parking area. Stop there, change yourself and walk to the river. Enjoy!
