


Montecatini Terme is a town under the province of Pistoia and it's extremely famous for its spas - it's one of the biggest spa centres in Italy and in all Europe. It's a medieval town: still you can admire its ancient walls, castles and towers.
The waters are saline-suphate and are very used for drinking cures.
Montecatini's waters are divided into:
• "Strong waters": Leopoldina spring (indicated especially for gastrointestinal peristalsis)
• "Middle waters": Regina spring (indicated especially for gastrointestinal diseases)
• "Weak waters": Rinfresco and Tettuccio springs (Tettuccio indicated for livres diseases; Rinfresco purifies kidneys)
Leopoldina and Rinfresco waters are used for baths, inhalations treatments, mud therapy, massages.
In general these waters are indicated for: peripheral vascular disease, deafness cure deafness, physical therapy rehabilitation, inhalation treatments, beauty treatments, fitness and motor rehabilitation, respiratory and vascular diseases
